Plane flies as Pilot sleeps. "Bravo"

Here's a very good news which influences me to look for other alternatives of transportation to travel from one destination to another.

This happened two weeks ago, an Air India Dubai-Jaipur-Mumbai flight — IC 612 which was destined to land in Mumbai with 100 passengers on board flew past the Mumbai airport as the pilots were too tired to keep their eyes open in flight and fell asleep in the cockpit. Finally with continuous effort of Mumbai ATC pilots were finally awake by the time the plane was half way to GOA.

And as the saying goes in INDIA "blame it on other's" Mr. MG Junghare GM of Mumbai aerodrome completely ignored the claims that pilot were asleep behind the controls and comes up with a theory of `Radio Communication failure`, "that's really smart way of dealing with major issues, you have made us assure how safe we are in air".

India's own Bullet train SOON!

Yes that's true, and that's what our railways have in stored for us. Though its still in the planning stages but the invitation of global tenders for conducting a pre-feasibility study of a high-speed train on the Pune-Ahmedabad-Mumbai route, which could cut travel time between the cities by nearly half have already been started.

If everything goes as planned then the distance of 660 KM between Pune - Ahmedabad which is covered by an overnight journey will be reduced drastically.

Fist phase of the speed train between Pune and Ahemdabad will start with the feasibility study by an consultant of the proposed speed
corridor which will focus on financial, operational and technicalviability of the project and if all well we will soon be having our own bullet train cruising at 300 kmph.

However, it is anticipate that the cost factor is the major concern as it is expected to be costing about
Rs8,000 crore and require dedicated tracks, free from any roadblocks.

OMG!!! India's Inflation 11.05%.

Yes its a shocker for most of the families in INDIA as the inflation soared to 11.05% from 7.28% in a months time. Thanks to the good political decision (oops) by our government, in the event of constant rising prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas this was bound to happen eventually but it was speculated that this would rise to 9% and not 11.05% and that to this soon. The new inflation level was the highest in 13 years since May 1995.

However, I still cannot understand how our brainy politicians (and I really mean it) educated in Cambridge and Oxford and having lot of political experience couldn't foresee where the inflation was heading.

With election just around the corner and N-Deal still hanging by thread, UPA government would need a miracle to be able to pull out of this mess.

Cops to get "license to KILL"

Now the cops get sophisticated weapons to kill the innocent(oops) bad guys. Yes now cops in India will have license to kill that too with sophisticated weapons. This all happened after the Maharashtra government had agreed to spend a hefty amount of 44 crore tax generate rupees in procurement of these weapons.

Soon our cops will be armed with Russian made AK47, German made MP-5, Sniper Rifle, Carbine, indigenous INSAS(Indian National small Arms system) Rifle and Glock Pistols and off-course the Plastic Bullets to kill bad guys.

This decision was taken at a meeting of police and home dept officials in the light of increasing terrorist activities in Maharashtra.

But, what happens to the more than 900 sophisticated which are lying in the police armory for more than a decade. Well most of them are non usable (as usually the case) due to lace of spare parts qualified personnel's to be able to handle them. So I can forecast, that the new acquisition of Rs 44 crore of arms will be soon meeting their brothers in the police armory.

My visit to Dasavatharam

Well it happened out of the blue, yesterday night as I was chilling, my friend called me up and asked me if I can join him to watch Dasavatharam. As I had nothing to do and also the Euro was at 12:15 Am (at my location) so I agreed.

As the cast started showing up on the screens I kept my finger crossed for the dam one reason and one reason only “The movie should contain the subtitles” as I belong the region where Tamil is not heard at all, so how can I understand what was about to come out of the mouths of actors on the screen. As the movie started it I saw my horror coming to reality, the multiplex where I came to watch the movie didn’t had the print with the subtitles. I kept thinking at the back of my mind “oh god what have I done”, I was feeling discriminated, as I was the only person in the theatre who was sitting as dumb when all of them were laughing and crying.

As the time passed I was able to grasp the progress of the movie and understood what was going on, by playing ‘Dumb Sherad’ with the movie and what really amused me apart from ‘Kamala Hasan’s’ 10 different roles in the movie (as if the producer had run out of the actor’s to perform the roles) but the scene where Chinese women speaks Tamil in Chinese ascent.

Lets my bad review short, the only thing I would like to say that the movie is too good and Kamala Hasan displayed that he can perform 10 different roles and that to without a hitch.......

I would really recommend this movie, you would definitely enjoy the movie with subtitles if you cant understand Tamil and even if you can, wait for some time our bollywood version will be definitely around the corner.

I would like to give four whistle to the movie (which I kept hearing in the theatre the entire time).
